As a professional 3D motion designer, it's not every day that you get the opportunity to collaborate with a team as forward-thinking and innovative as Interactive Design. When they approached me to help create an awe-inspiring showreel for their website and socials, I couldn't resist the challenge. Buckle up, dear reader, because I'm about to take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of our creative journey!

A Behind-the-Scenes Look.
Our showreel odyssey began where all great adventures do: at the drawing board. The masterminds at Interactive Design presented their ideas, along with an initial script and storyboard. This crucial stage ensured that everyone involved could visualize the company's mission, values, and goals.
Once we were all on the same wavelength, it was time to curate the perfect mood board. We sifted through countless visual concepts before landing on the one that resonated with Interactive Design's ethos. With our creative compass set, we divided the tasks among the main players in the production process.
As a 3D motion designer, I wore multiple hats throughout the project. I created 3D models, arranged them in scenes, and animated the camera and other objects, all while using Cinema 4D. Meanwhile, our talented 3D modeler crafted additional models to bring the showreel to life.
The next stage was all about rendering. I applied materials to each object, set up lighting, and adjusted rendering settings, using the powerful Redshift engine to get the job done. This attention to detail ensured that every scene was as visually stunning as the last.
Our final stop on this creative roller coaster was post-production. I turned to After Effects for color correction, additional effects, and scene transitions. Once everything was polished to perfection, we combined all the scenes and completed the sound design.
